Poetry in America
Poetry in America, created and directed by Harvard professor Elisa New, is the flagship project from Verse Video Education. A multi-platform digital initiative, Poetry in America brings verse into classrooms and living rooms around the world.
In partnership with Harvard University, Poetry in America offers free online courses for global learners as well as for-credit and professional development courses for undergraduates, graduate students and educational practitioners. The public television series, Poetry in America, is currently in production with our partner WGBH Boston.
In addition to its flagship project, the Verse Video Education team creates educational media for a wide range of mission-driven clients, including:
The Case Method Project at Harvard Business School
YIVO Institute for Jewish Research
Schlesinger Library at the Radcliffe Institute
Greenwich Country Day School
Harvard University Department of English
The Committee on Degrees in History and Literature, Harvard University
Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education
